Penguin Crafts For Kids

I really love this round penguin craft idea! It's easy and it's adorable. You may have all the stuff you need to make it at home in your craft room already, if not, these materials are easy to find in any craft store. To make this round penguin you will need:

• white Styrofoam (or other) ball
• black craft paint
• orange craft foam (I think orange construction paper would be a good 2nd choice)
• googly eyes
• hot glue gun and glue sticks - don't let the kids do this project without you glue guns get very hot
• craft scissors
• pencil

Here is a super easy craft idea for you and your kids to make. It is another very cheap project but it looks great when you are finished and it is really fun to make.

This penguin craft was made with the following supplies:

• 1 sheet of blue construction paper for the background - use any color you like since it is your craft picture.
• construction paper in: black, white, orange, and red or pink
• pencil
• stick glue or craft glue (stick is easier and less messy)
• black marker

Here's how to make this super simple penguin craft:

Look at the picture. Draw a oval shape and then draw another oval shape inside it. Draw feet. Cut up tiny pieces of construction paper in black and white. Glue the black construction paper on the outside oval and the white construction paper on the inside oval. Fill in the feet with black paper. Fill the ground with white paper to make it look snowy. Add some tiny white pieces of paper to the sky to make it look like it's snowing. Add an orange triangle for a beak and draw some eyes with the marker. This penguin has a pretty pink bow, but you could also add a bowtie or a scarf, whatever you feel like.
