A Round Penguin Craft To Make With Kids

I really love this round penguin craft idea! It's easy and it's adorable. You may have all the stuff you need to make it at home in your craft room already, if not, these materials are easy to find in any craft store. To make this round penguin you will need:

  • white Styrofoam (or other) ball
  • black craft paint
  • orange craft foam (I think orange construction paper would be a good 2nd choice)
  • googly eyes
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks - don't let the kids do this project without you glue guns get very hot
  • craft scissors
  • pencil

This is one of my favorite craft projects ever! I think it's the cutest little penguin I've seen and it's so easy to make. I want to open a penguin store and just sell these little guys!

Frozen Penguin Crafts That You Can Eat - DIY

I found these yummy snack/craft ideas at Doublethebatch.com and now I am seriously craving them. I cannot wait for my kids to get home from school so I can make a batch with them. (when you are using bananas can you say batch, or is it a bunch? Whatever!) Just an odd thought I had when I typed the word batch...sometimes my mind just strays like that. Anyway, I digress...back to the edible penguin craft project. To make these yummy little birds you will need:

  • bananas
  • chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  • Reese's Pieces or similar candies to make the beak and the feet
  • candy eyes for the eyes

Now dipping these guys might be difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, they are pretty simple to make. You can find more details at ReadingConfetti.com. And don't expect these birds to stick a round for a long time...they are going to be gobble up just as quickly as you can make them.

Penguins Don't Need A Dentist

Penguins do not have teeth! They do have spines on their tongue and on their beak. I never knew that before.

Construction paper, cotton balls, button eyes, craft glue and scissors are all you need to make this cute penguin craft idea for kids.

Make A Cotton Ball Penguin Craft

Easy Peasy and Fun has a great little craft project that is perfect for younger kids. You will need some:

  • construction paper - black, white, and orange
  • cotton balls
  • craft glue
  • craft scissors
  • 2 button eyes

You probably have all of those materials, and that makes this a super cheap project to make with your kiddies! It's so good to be able to have this much fun and not have it cost you anything! You are going to have a lot of penguin pictures to hang when your kids find out how much fun it is to make a craft using cotton balls!

There are plenty of other craft ideas to make with the cotton balls - a lamb, a snowman, a bunny, a chick, Santa...the list goes on and on.

Penguins Are Flightless Birds

Did you know that penguins are just 1 of the 40 species of birds that cannot fly? I did not realize there were so many different species of birds that cannot fly!

Water Bottle Penguin Craft Idea For Kids

This is a simple, fun to do craft project for you and your kids. Make a penguin from those empty water bottles we all seem to have all over the place! To make your own water bottle penguin you will need:

  • plastic water bottles
  • cotton balls
  • black and orange construction paper
  • googly eyes
  • feathers (optional)
  • craft scissors
  • craft glue

Just fill up that empty and dry water bottle with cotton balls, put the top on it and decorate with a construction paper beak, feet, arms...you can see from the picture how this penguin should look and it's easy to add your own unique touches to each one.

Simple, fun, and cheap. Just what you want in a kid's craft project...and it's cute too.

Draw an oval shape on a piece of construction paper. Add feet, draw another oval in the middle of your oval. Add confetti size cut up pieces of construction paper. Draw a face, glue on a triangle orange beak. Draw a bow if you like.

Love This Confetti Paper Penguin Craft Idea And Your Kids Will Too

I could make penguin crafts all day long...I really love these little flightless birds. They are so cute. They always look ready to party since they look like they have a tuxedo on. Here is a super easy craft idea for you and your kids to make. It is another very cheap project but it looks great when you are finished and it is really fun to make.

This penguin craft was made with the following supplies:

  • 1 sheet of blue construction paper for the background - use any color you like since it is your craft picture.
  • construction paper in: black, white, orange, and red or pink
  • pencil
  • stick glue or craft glue (stick is easier and less messy)
  • black marker

Here's how to make this super simple penguin craft:

Look at the picture. Draw a oval shape and then draw another oval shape inside it. Draw feet. Cut up tiny pieces of construction paper in black and white. Glue the black construction paper on the outside oval and the white construction paper on the inside oval. Fill in the feet with black paper. Fill the ground with white paper to make it look snowy. Add some tiny white pieces of paper to the sky to make it look like it's snowing. Add an orange triangle for a beak and draw some eyes with the marker. This penguin has a pretty pink bow, but you could also add a bowtie or a scarf, whatever you feel like.

Penguins Lose Their Feathers Every Year

Penguins lose their feathers every year, once. This is called molting. When they are molting, they cannot go into the water.

The paper cup penguin is made with construction paper, a black paper cup, and some googly eyes, but it's not just a kid's craft, it's a game!.

The Penguin Cup Craft And Dice Game

This is a clever craft project. It's a penguin you make by rolling the dice. You will need some:

  • black construction paper wings
  • googly eyes
  • orange beaks
  • white penguin chest
  • penguin feet
  • craft glue
  • dice

This crafter made the dice to look like each penguin part rather than use a plain dice with numbers. They are so cute! You can make your dice like that or just use a die with numbers...the choice is yours.

Each spin of the dice, a penguin parts gets glued on to your paper cup.

Take turns rolling the dice. Each number matches a penguin part. Start with the black paper cup and glue pieces on to make a penguin. Roll and play - it's easy and fun.

Well, Penguins don't get "married" like people do, but they do mate for life

Blubber, or the fat beneath their skin, is what keeps penguins warm when they dive in icy waters or every day when they live on the very cold Antarctic ice.
