Have You Ever Heard Of Persona Paper And Bubblews Before This Article?

Persona Paper was started in mid 2014 by a few former Bubblews members that were disappointed in the site's abrupt policy changes, non-payment issues and non-responsiveness of the staff (Bubblews is another popular social platform with shared ad revenue program that has recently started to go into a steep decline due to several issues that are apparently being addressed by the staff).

Persona Paper is a social sharing web site, where the members get paid a certain amount for posting articles, unique views of their articles and posting comments on other member's articles.

Here I'll review the web site's up-sides and down-sides and give some tips on how to make the most of this promising new platform.

Ease Of Use

Persona Paper is designed to be very easy to use and navigate. It has a sort of a "forum feel" at the first glance, though it's really a social sharing platform. Every new article is featured on the first page with the optional picture besides the title and a short snippet of the first paragraph.

The writing interface is simple to use and has some advanced text features as well as multiple image inserting options, tables, code snippets and so on (see figure below).

The only weakness at the time of this writing is that you can not directly embed YouTube videos in the posts, but the engineers are working on this and it will probably available in the first months of this year (2015).

The writing interface is simple and easy to use with some text size and color options as well as some SEO options (H1-H6 title tags), inserting images, code, tables, links, lists and so on

Members can follow each other and post comments under the articles or on the member's profile.

Articles are categorized in many categories, of which each is also featured separately on the first page in a slider, where each category and it's first five most recent articles are highlighted.

Quality Control

One of the hallmarks of Persona Paper is it's quality control.

Each new member has to post a 500 character post about themselves and describe something about themselves.

The post is then reviewed by an editor for proper English so that the quality of the posts remain relatively high (this was not done on most other pay-per-post social platforms).

This gives the site to remain authoritative in the long run and to give the readers a better experience, which is also very good for search engine ranking.

The posts are also regularly checked for plagiarized and duplicate content, which further assures site's authority and each image has to have a declaration of it's source.

A Short Video Explaining How Persona Paper Works

Rates And Viability Review

At the Persona Paper each author is paid in so called "Coins".

For each unique view of your post you get 2 Coins, for each comment you make on other people's posts, you get 1 Coin. You also earn a coin for each vote you get on your polls.

The current exchange rate is $0.0015 for 1 Coin (as of Jan.01.2015). The exchange is said to be slowly raised periodically as the site gets more revenue from the advertisers and as they create a financial buffer to be able to fulfil all payments.

The minimum payout is $20, which is roughly 13,333 Coins. This can also change in time. It used to be $5, but as of Jan.01.2015, they changed it to $20. Users that get to $7.5 (which is equivalent to $5 during the previous exchange rate of $0.001 per Coin), can still exchange the coins for $5 during the month of January 2015.

The rates seem more realistic than it was on Bubblews, where they were paying $0.01 per post, view or comment on your posts. This way obviously an unrealistic rate and it pushed this very popular site to enforce some extremely radical measures and resort to non-payment and strict policies regarding the interactions in order to delete the accounts of the offending members. This is still going on on Bubblews at the time of this writing.

Persona Paper is completely different in this regard. The pay is much lower, but this exact move makes the site sustainable and permits it's long-term survival.

Member Equality

All members and non-member readers at Persona Paper are regarded as equal. There's no difference if a member is from the USA or from the Philippines. They all get paid the same amount and for traffic to their web site from all over the world.

This is also a big difference between Bubblews and Persona Paper because due to recent Bubblews changes, non-US, UK or AU members get paid a lot less than their US, UK and AU counterparts.

Payouts

Admittedly, I haven't been a member of Persona Paper long enough to acquire enough coins for the minimum payout, but the coins seem to be piling up.

From exploring some other member's posts, I came to the conclusion that everyone who asked for the redemption, got their money promptly to their PayPal account.

Admittedly, due to the fact that the site is very new, not very many members got paid yet, but the ones that did get to the minimum threshold in this short time, did all get paid promptly.

After you reach the minimum threshold, you can hit the redemption button. After you do that, you get contacted by a member of the staff regarding the time it's going to take for you to get payment (this depends on the number of your articles they have to review before they issue payment to avoid plagiarism and scams, where people use bots to make it seem like a lot of viewers viewed their posts).

You can get your money sent directly to your PayPal account or in the form of an Amazon gift certificate.

Persona Paper Staff And Site Transparency Review

My experience with the Persona Paper staff has been nothing short of extraordinary.

They are polite, active, prompt and willing to listen to the members.

They listen to suggestions and respond as quickly as possible (usually within 24 hours, depending on the day of the week).

Everything they have done with the site for now was announced beforehand and each move was explained in detail, with the background for the decision, where it was deemed necessary.

The exchange rate has been slightly increased, but not to the amount that was announced (instead of 100% increase, they did a 50% increase). This decision was explained and a promise was made that they will work extensively towards a higher exchange rate for the Coins earned.

The posts that don't meet the criteria for payment (plagiarized content, extremely poor quality, illegal traffic creation techniques...) result in deduced Coins earned with this post from the member's account. This is better than with Bubblews, where they simply delete the user's whole account and he or she gets paid nothing.

Persona Paper Restrictions

Persona Paper has very few restrictions, but some still apply:

  • The posts have to be written in coherent English
  • The content has to be unique
  • Each post has to contain a minimum of 500 alphanumeric characters (punctuation and spaces don't count)
  • The author must supply credit for each image he or she uses in the post
  • The daily limit of posts is 15 posts a day
  • There has to be at least 10 minutes between two posts. You must wait before posting another post or it will be removed
  • You cannot post any affiliate links in the posts or otherwise

Review Conclusions

All in all, I find Persona Paper a very promising newcomer to the content sharing platforms. For now the rates are extremely low, but there's real promise of them getting higher over time (one 50% increase in the exchange rate has already happened on Jan.01.2015).

What I like about Persona Paper is the fact that you can in a way control your income because you're being paid for each comment you make on other member's posts. Although this is only a fraction of a cent for now, it can have a triple positive effect on your earnings:

  1. You earn directly when you post comments
  2. Each comment contains a link to your profile, thus increasing your profile's importance in in the eyes of the search engines
  3. If you post though-out relevant comments, you'll also get more visitors to your profile, subscribers and views of your posts, which in turn gets you more coins

Granted that for now the community is relatively small, but when the number reaches a tipping point, the growth will be close to exponential and so will be the potential for earnings.

I find that Persona Paper has huge potential because of these three important factors:

  1. Quality Control
  2. Realistically Set Exchange Rate
  3. Great Community Of Helpful Writers

Google Loves Persona Paper

I found Persona Paper by accident while doing some research in Google on Bubblews. When I did a search on something about Bubblews, the first result was a poll made by some member on Persona Paper.

What stroke me was that it was only a few words and a poll. Nothing else, yet it was ranking #1 for a low competition term, but it still had some competition, including established blogs and such.

I also noticed that Persona Paper indexes extremely well in Google. I did a "Google Indexing Experiment" that proved to me the site is deemed to be a high-authority site to Google.

I wrote about my experiment and results here: Google Loves Persona Paper

Final Thoughts

In all honesty, you won't get rich overnight with Persona Paper, but it shows a lot of promise.

Although I wouldn't use it as a sole or even a major source of income, in my educated opinion, the site is at least worth using for back-links to your own web site for quick indexing and better ranking, as Persona Paper is viewed as an authority web site to Google at the moment of this writing.

I predict that many quality, researched (keywords) and thought out posts will be picked up by Google and ranked highly for the keywords, getting traffic to your site and earning some money on the side.

I hope this Persona Paper review was helpful to you and it will bring you success in deciding a proper strategy for your online earnings.

If you can make $1 online, there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be able to make $1,000,000
