Summer is here people! And since I know how popular are margaritas during the summer time, I decided to make an article including some of the most delicious flavors so you can try and enjoy. When we hear the word "margaritas" we automatically think in a lemony, refreshing cocktail drink, but truth is there are so many flavor varieties now for you to try. Here you will find 10 awesome options for you to try. Lets get started!

Banana Margarita

Surprised? Lets go bananas! Wao your friends with this one of a kind margarita. For this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1oz. gold tequila
  • 1oz. cream of bananas
  • 1/2oz. triple sec
  • 3/4oz lemon juice
  • 1/4 mashed banana

Field glass with ice and mix all ingredients. Don't forget to put some lemon juice in the rim of the glass and dip into caster sugar. Use a lemon juice-dipped banana slice to decorate. Good and simple!

Mango Margarita

This margarita taste really good if you serve it frozen, so mix the following ingredients and some ice in your blender and enjoy the flavor of the tropical islands.

  • 1 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. mango liqueour
  • 1/2 oz. lime juice

This one is served in a glass salt-rimmed glass.

Passion Margarita

This margarita screams summer! So refreshing, such a good ide for a day at the beach!

  • 3/4 oz passion liqueur
  • 3/4 oz tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice

Shake all ingredients very well and serve into a salt-rimmed cocktail glass. Use a lime wheel to decor. Yummy!

Purple Margarita

Want something chic and fancy? Then this one is a most! The hipnotic color just say: "come to me". One of my favorites recipes!

  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 2 oz. sweet and sour mix
  • 2 oz. raspberry liqueur
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 oz. cranberry juice

A salt-rimmed glass and a few ice cubes is all you need to complete this fantastic drink.

Pear Margarita

The pear margarita is a frozen option for those days the hot temperatures hit without mercy. Try it once and you will love it!

  • 1 whole canned pear
  • 1 oz. silver tequila
  • 1/2 oz. triple sec
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. sweet and sour mix

Mix all ingredients in a blender and serve in a sugar-rimmed margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wheel, and ready to enjoy!

As a tip for those recipes using sweet and sour mix, choose one with a good quality. This will make a huge difference in your margarita flavor.


Watermelon Margarita

Mmmm... I don't have to say anything else.

  • 16 oz no seed watermelon
  • 1/2 lime
  • 6 oz tequila
  • 3 oz triple sec
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Add more sugar if neccesary, mix everything in the blender and server in a sugar-rimmed margarita glass.

Peach Margarita

Tropical, sweet and sexy. Perfect choice for a hot beach day!

  • 1 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. peach schnapps
  • 1 oz. sweet and sour mix
  • 1 dash grenadine syrup

Mix tequila, peach schnapps, sweet and sour mix and ice in a sugar-rimmed margarita glass. Add a dash of grenadine, stir slightly and serve.

Cranberry Margarita

Cranberry flavor is very popular between refreshing cocktails. Why not taste it in a fabulous margarita drink? You will need:

  • 1 1/2 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. triple sec
  • 1 1/2 oz. sweet and sour mix
  • 2 oz. cranberry juice

Mix all ingredients. Server frozen or on the rocks. Remember the sugar-rimmed margarita glass to serve this delicious drink.

Blue Margarita

Blue, the color of the sea. You are going to absolutely love this margarita. Not too sour, not too sweet, is the perfect balance. You only need:

  • 1 1/2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz blue curacao liqueur
  • 1 oz lime juice

Just mix and serve on the roks in a salt-rimmed margarita glass and enjoy your summer!

Orange Margarita

If you really like the traditional margarita, you are going to love this one. More traditional, but with a twist that make your margarita drink even more interesting.

  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz. triple sec
  • 4-6 oz. orange juice
  • 1 splash lime juice or sour mix

Combine ice, tequila, triple sec and orange juice in a salt-rimmed margarita glass. Finally add a splash of lime juice or sour mix and garnish with a lime wheel.
