Making A Frittata
Over the past couple of weeks I have been having this taste for a frittata the taste is so great and I think everyone would love it.
What I like about this frittata is it can be made with every type of ingredient that your taste buds would crave......So today I want to share with you the recipe I use to make my frittata.
Spinach Mushroom & Bacon Frittata
What your going to need
Ingredients
4 large eggs
4 large egg whites
2 table spoons of water
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup of spinach
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
2 slices cooked bacon crumbled (you can use turkey bacon if tou do not eat pork)
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
Methods
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Saute the mushrooms and the spinach then set aside.
combine whole eggs, egg whites and water whip in a medium bowl until blended.
stir in 1/2 cup cheese, tomatoes, bacon, mushrooms, spinach and chives. Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan.
Place frittata in the oven and bake 25 min. or until puffed and golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake 5 min until the cheese is melted.
