Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Customize Level Up Guide

In Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, the hero Raiden can customize his character. To customize Raiden is to level up Raiden. This will guide the hero on how to customize or level up Raiden, especially with regards to the early part of the game.

In the early part of the game, Raiden has the following skills to level up –

• Aerial Parry – this is a defensive offense skill where Raiden’s updated firmware allows him to improve his balance whilst in the air and then parry the enemies’ attacks.
• Defensive Offense – this really is a defensive offense move where Raiden will sidestep the enemy’s offence and then counter with a defensive attack of his own.
• Sky High – Raiden holds his weapon in his foot and then goes up with the blade slashing at the enemies. A sight to behold when you get it right with the other moves.
• Sweep Kick – Raiden sweeps up with his foot at the enemies.
• Thunder Strike – allows Raiden to channel air pressure into a shockwave.

Later in the game, with new weapons, Raiden will unlock special weapon skills and will be able to add these skills to his repertoire with more BP. For example, when the polearm is unlocked, Raiden will have the following skills to purchase and level up -

• Marches du ciel - plant the polearm into the ground and then use it as a pivot to perform a somersault jump, assaulting enemies from above.
• Lumiere du ciel - extend the polearm forwards and attack enemies.

Customizing Raiden’s body is one of the options. This provides Raiden with a new look that allows him to blend in in certain parts of the game. After Chapter 2, for example, Raiden will get the amigos look (see above).

It is possible to customize Raiden’s main weapon – his high-frequency blade. Raiden’s blade has the following attributes –

• Attack power
• Uptake power
• Energy use

Putting enhancements into the main weapon will allow Raiden to level up the HF blade. The HF blade comes with a strength + 1 enhancement, an absorption + 1 enhancement or an energy + 1 enhancement options. Using BP to purchase an enhancement and level up the HF blade will increase one of the attributes listed above, adding more combat prowess or durability to increase Raiden's battle supremacy.

Raiden can level up the life of the hero and use BP to purchase a + 1 endurance initially. This will allow the hero to have more life to deal with when the enemies attack.

Finally, Raiden can customize his fuel cell. Fuel cells will increase Raiden's power usage. As Raiden expands more BP to purchase better fuel cells, this power will increase.
