In Dead Space 3, Isaac finally learns the truth behind the frozen planet, and the scourge of the necromorphs within this galaxy. Now he must escape from the lab and exert his revenge on Danik and prevent the Brethren Moons from destroying the entire universe. This is Chapter 15 Change of Fortitude. This will guide the hero on how to escape the gas within Rosetta Lab and then pursue Danik and recover the codex from Danik.
Dead Space 3 Escape From the Gas
First, Isaac must escape from the gas in the lab or perish. To prevent death, swift action is needed. From the ramp, go right down the ramp and then left beyond the gas. Go to the other side of the room and then go up the other ramp and from there to the exit. Isaac and Carver will escape, but Ellie will be left behind.

Dead Space 3 Pursue and Catch Up With Danik
The pursuit of Danik will take the hero to the exterior just outside the Geology Labs. Here, Isaac will face necromorphs initially and then take on the unitologists. Isaac must have the right weapons, or this will be a quick suicide mission, particularly when shooting at the Unitologists on the upper floors (they will be using rocket launchers).
Follow the light flares to a place on fire in this area. And then open the door and defeat more necromorphs and unitologists. Once they are defeated, use the electrical engineering interface to open the door here.
This will lead to Chapter 16 What Lies Beneath.
Danik is just within reach, but just outside of the hero’s range. Use the weapons bench beyond the door to power up the hero’s gear and then it’s time to descend into the lower levels of the planet.

Activate the descending grapple equipment and chase after Danik and the descending lift. Once the first lift or platform is reached, the hero must fight through more enemies and go down a lower level to another lift or platform. There will be necromorphs and unitologists trying to take down the hero. Reach the lower platform and take out more unitologists across the other platform. Proceed on and eventually reach another EEI. Solve the puzzle fast to open the door.
Then descend through another grapple equipment to another platform. This time, more necromorphs and unitologists will resist the hero and fail. There will be a final set of descent into the lower levels. A hulky breed of necromorphs will attempt to stop the hero and fail.
Eventually, the hero will reach near the bottom and rendezvous with Carver.
Isaac will have to set off a few explosives in the strange alien city. The final explosive will allow Isaac to free fall and land on Danik. Carver and Isaac will get the codex in the chaos.
