Dead Space 3 Chapter 14 Everything Has Its Place

In Dead Space 3, Isaac will meet up with the team of Carver and Ellie at the Rosetta Research Lab. Within the compound, the team must find and then reassemble the pieces of Rosetta the alien. There are four pieces of Rosetta that are found outside the Rosetta lab. Hence Isaac must venture outside the lab to find and get the remaining Rosetta pieces. This is Chapter 14 Everything Has Its Place. This will guide Isaac on how to get the four pieces of Rosetta and then reassemble Rosetta so that the team can extract the information from its head and get the codex for the Machine.

Dead Space 3 Get First Rosetta Piece From the Geology Lab

Get the research facility key from the Rosetta Lab. Head out of the lab and then go for the lift. Take the lift down to the first floor and find the entrance to the Geology Lab (first left from the lift). Go through the entrance and reach the outside of the facility. Isaac must go out of the facility and then reenter the Geology Lab. Not surprising, this maze like exterior contains the Velociraptor like necromorphs.

Defeat the Velociraptor necromorphs on the first level. There is a disposal area here which cannot be opened just yet. Ignore that and find an open elevator that will take Isaac to the next level. This level is darker and creepier, but it contains the same Velociraptor like necromorphs. Defeat them again and then find the entrance to the interior of the Geology Sector.

Enter the geology lab proper and find the first rosetta piece beyond a series of lasers on the left. Use Kinesis on the slab in the center and use it to block the lasers. Transverse through the non-lasered sections and collect the first rosetta piece. Defeat the necromorphs (and Unitologists) that appear and then deposit the first rosetta piece into some sort of Rosetta conduit transport system and Ellie will receive it in the lab.

Dead Space 3 Get the Second Rosetta Piece From the Biology Lab

Return to the main biology lab area and pass through the previously locked area to go into a different section of the biology lab. Isaac will discover that the whole lab here is encased in organic material. Find the valve that will unleash the gas that will kill the organic material. Activate the valve using the controls.

Go into the gas protection room and activate the gas. Allow the organic material to disintegrate and then proceed into the biology room. Defeat the necromorphs within and grab the second rosetta piece and insert it into the rosetta conduit transport system.

Dead Space 3 Get the Third Rosetta Piece From the Paleontology Lab

As the hero steps out from the biology lab, spot the now free from organic debris open elevator and descend to the bottom. Defeat the necromorphs in the corridor and get into the Paleontology lab. The necromorphs here are numerous and can be overwhelming. Bring the right weapons into the lab and put down the undead. Within the lab proper, the hero must align the three slabs properly to allow the rosetta piece to come out (see first picture). Send the piece to Ellie.

Dead Space 3 Activate the Valve Control

Dead Space 3 activate the valve control from a distance to allow Isaac to run into the gas protection room before the gas takes over the corridor.

Dark Space 3 Get the Final Rosetta Piece From the Paleontology Lab

The final rosetta piece lies within an organic debris filled area of the paleontology lab. The key to opening the valve for the gas lies down the corridor. Use kinesis to activate the valve from near the gas protection room.

Then run away from the gas and enter the room and seal the room up with the switch. When the room is cleared of organic filth, open the door and go further inside. Grab the rosetta piece and deposit it into the system.

On the way back to the Rosetta Lab, Isaac faces more necromorphs. Eventually, get back to the lab and it’s time to reassemble Rosetta.

Dead Space 3 Assemble Rosetta

Assemble Rosetta the alien and uncover the truth behind the Moon, the aliens, the frozen planet of Tau Volantis and Dead Space.

Then, it's time to leave the lab involuntarily.
