Why Everyone Matters On Hub Pages?

I have been writing online for money since 2007. I have written over 1,000 different articles and the likes. Some of them are much more successful than others. After some thought I have realized that the online writing community has been around quite awhile. People have been writing for years. It is an over saturated market to be blunt. That is why having the highest quality content is more than just important. It is vital. The new changes on Google including the 'Penguin' update are to narrow in on the 'best' information available. There are a lot of articles out there about this and that. Google uses all the content on a website to determine if they are worth searches time or not.

For this reason it is important we all have excellent content. There are other websites out there waiting for traffic. It is ours for the taking if our search engine ranking is high enough. You can look on Alexa Internet rankings. This website shows detailed statistics of how popular your website is. Currently us Hubbers are at 340th globally. This means that there are only 340 websites getting more views than us. Why? Because they are better. Search engines pick the best websites and Alexa breaks down the keywords in relation to how people get to a website.

The Problem.

Do You Think You Matter?

Hub Pages Part

Hub Pages takes care of us well. They are responsible for about 30% of our SEO statistics. Without their hard work we would not get nearly as far as we have! They are constantly updating and improving the web site to increase the quality of everything. I have posted the blog RSS beside so you can see the recent changes that have been made. They are on the right track setting certain users and Hubs as no-follow. No-follow means that Google and Yahoo do not count the links involved either to or from the page. This means that poor quality content is not flooding search engines, telling them that Hub Pages is full of spam. This helps us all improve. Your goal should be something along the lines of not being that person Hub Pages has to find a way to get rid of your poor content. As you publish more and more quality content you become more and more popular with everyone. That is how you make money!

The Importance Of Links.

If you look at the Google algorithm you will see that about 45% of the weight is distributed between links in and the quality of anchor text of those links. 15-20% of the factors are out of Hub Page Writers control. That is up to Hub Pages and I trust they are doing it well.

What does this mean for me? Links in are one of your most important goals. You should write quality content so you are not a scam artist but between all of your writing websites be sure to link them together as it shows Google someone cares about your content. Even if it is you they don't know that. Quality content means others will also link to your content making it even more SEO friendly.

If you have quality links but you lose the 25% dedicated to quality, be it keywords or length then you will fall to page, oh, about 9,000 in the search results. You want to be top 5 to get any amount of visits.

Don't Be Greedy

There is no room on Hub Pages for greedy people. People who want lots of followers, help, comments, views and free SEO help. Are no good for anyone. We must work as a team to make Hub Pages the 'Go To' place for information. There are other websites out there that work hard and we must work harder. We need to help each other. It is important to link to other peoples websites and pages. This leads to a stronger presence on the entire web. I won't show you the exact math but it goes like this.

Bigger Web Presence = More Views = More income
