Choose to win the race

Many peoples are around us who constantly complain about their inability to perform well. And very often we hear the statements like "I do not have money", "I did not have an opportunity like you had." "I do not have the time." "I do not have the support." etc. etc.

Many of their statements are true. We all are born and brought up in a different circumstance, with different parents, and are in different places. We studied at different schools, taught by different teachers who have different standards. Some of us had good parents, few are abandoned by their parents. Many of us are born physically strong, some were born weak physically. Some of us were born in a poor family and did not have resources for three meals a day. Many are born in good or middle class family who managed to provide you three meals a day. Very few born and brought up in a rich family. They are wealthy, nourished, educated and had many resources for making money.

But God has given us all one thing in common. No matter your family background, color, race, nationality, religion, richness or poorness, Physical ability etc..., we all have this ability. This ability can take you wherever you want to go. No one can stop you. This ability is your power to Choose. This ability can build you as well as it can destroy you. If you are broken or destroyed at present, it is just because you choose to be destroyed. You chose to be broken. If you are in a good position, you choose to be in that position. If you are successful, you choose to be successful.

Even though you have born and brought up in a wealthy family, and had many opportunities, you can choose to squander your wealth and become poor. In the story of the prodigal son, the son choose to squander his wealth in wildlife and become poor. Even today there are many prodigal sons are around us.

When you were a child, you choose to study your lessons. That is why you have that certificate of Graduation in your hand. Some chose to spend their time playing, reading magazines, and watching TV instead of choosing study. That is why you do not have this much-needed certificate of Graduation with you. Many times you longed, If I had that certificate, I could get a better job, I would have been in a better position. But the truth is that you choose to be in your position. If you ask a scientist or who study the mental ability of mankind, they will tell you God has given us all the same capacity to learn. We all are using a very few percentages of our brain which God has given us. If you had put some more of your brain in to use, you could have that Certificate or skill to earn more and lead a better life.

You choose your partner, you choose the friends who are hanging around you. It is better to have a good partner and friends. Where are you now? If you are surrounded by bad friends or a bad partner, you have the choice to continue with them or not. Every moment we are making choices. In a day we make so many choices. You choose to wake up early and do the workout or you can choose to be overslept and running late during the day. It is your choice. You can do it. How many of us are using this power or ability to choose in the right way?

You can choose to be angry or be at peace with all around you. You can choose to forgive or keep the grudge with you. There is no use in keeping the grudge, it will occupy your thoughts and actions and destroy the pleasant atmosphere in the family or office or your surroundings. You can choose to behave well with others. You can choose to be an egoistic person or a humble person. It is very difficult to be humble, but it is beneficial and profitable.

You can choose the food you eat. Junk food or healthy food, that is your choice. You can eat more butter, cheese, oily and spicy food and become fatty, then waste your time, money, energy and resources to get slim, it is also your choice. It is your choice to sit idle and waste your time. At the same time, you can do something constructive and build yourself.

It is your choice to read and feed your brain with good things. At the same time, you can read and feed your brain with stupid stuff. What are you watching on TV every day? Is it beneficial? Are you just watching TV for a few minutes laughing? Don't waste your time. You will not get it back. Use that time to learn some skills which can use in making money. Join the evening college and complete your graduation. What are you reading in the newspaper? Is it constructive? We get Newspaper with countless pages. If you start to read them completely, it will take a full day.

If you are financially well today, it is the cumulative effect of all your choice in the past. If you're not financially well today, choose to learn how to invest money, how to save money, how to spend money, how to make money and how to multiply your money etc.

If your relationship is not good, choose to learn how to manage a healthy relation.

It is your choice that builds you and destroys you.

The key to success is to choose to be truthful, to be honest, to be humble, to be forgiving, to be happy, to be self-control, to be gentle, to be patient, to be kind, to be good and to be holy.

Let us remember the words of Paul who asked us to choose to bear fruits of spirit they are: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things, there is no law
